WOW!! WHAT A START TO THE WEEK!!

It's been an amazing week so far and all of your support has been overwhelming! My film "Watchmen of our waters" has been shortlisted by WaterAid/Worldviews film competition #sh2orts, and has already recieved over 600 views!!!

I spent yesterday running between two boats in Newlyn harbour, meeting more fishermen, hearing their incredible stories and getting covered in ice by a wayward ice tube while three stories down in the belly of a trawler. When I got home to see the response to the film so far, I felt hugely grateful to this incredible group of fishermen who have given me such close access to their work and their lives (Though I think the main reason they allow me on board is my hair- I think half of them genuinely believe I'm a mermaid!!) and a sense of pride that I have somehow managed to garner interest in their story in under a minute.

The story is so much bigger than 1 minute, and I hope to do them justice in a larger project, but this competition is an opportunity to tell their story to a global audience. Please keep watching, sharing, liking and posting to keep up the views and spread this story. THANK YOU!!
